EXTRAORDINARY
GALGOS AND PODENCOS
CHANGING THE WORLD, ONE DOG AT A TIME
The most experienced
Canadian organization in
international sighthound adoption
100 000 Spanish hounds are tortured and abandoned each year. Despite challenges and heartbreaks, together we achieve the EXTRAORDINARY: we find LOVING HOMES in Canada for galgos, podencos and salukis where they can finally live the life they always deserved. Since 2016, EGP is proud to have found families from coast to coast for more than 830 Spanish dogs.
Until they no longer need us, we’ll keep going. WHATEVER IT TAKES!

Want to help?
Extraordinary galgos and podencos is exclusively run by dedicated volunteers. Apart from adopting your own dog(s), there are many other ways to help make a difference: donate, foster a dog in need, volunteer in the Spanish shelters, join our welcome committee at the airport, help with transports and storage, organize and participate in our events and fundraisers, increase the visibility of the dogs if you have skills in photography, video, graphic design or social medias and, finally, talk to everyone you know about the suffering of the Spanish hunting dogs. This is how we save lives! Together we are stronger!
